I think history does shape the mindsets of users because anybody can write anything on the internet about the internet and other things and that can influence viewers mind. I also think without the history of something whether it be internet or something else history is what makes people understand how everything works, and with the history background the product can expand into something greater in the future. Some minsets are and can be open, some closed, some centered and decentered, etc.

I see the internet increasing, getting faster, and continuing to get better in the furture. Just picture the internet as like in the movie "The Fifth Element". We can get movies online, go shopping online, do grocery online, and there's many more things to do, places to see and people to talk etc. Internet is so advanced and it is everywhere!
